Ferris wheel is a common vehicle found from the night market to recreational parks. Giant Ferris wheel or better known as Ferris wheel is one of the favorite tourist attractions in Indonesia. The vehicle was first present in Indonesia in 1985 in the Fantasy World (Dufan), Ancol, Jakarta. It could be that the oldest giant Indonesian ferris wheel in Dufan is the pioneer in the use of the word Ferris wheel, which is now commonly used to refer to the giant ferris wheel in various locations in Indonesia.
